Artistic Grief Doula

Mourning is a vulnerable and volatile period of time…

To support you with artistic understanding throughout that time is my task. You would like…

  • To write a eulogy but feel like you can’t make it alone? Some help and support with the writing and delivery of your eulogy?

  • Or a professional, personal eulogy for an unconventional person?

  • To be present and influence the writing of your own eulogy, before you die? Or even to write your own eulogy?

  • An abstracted portrait of the deceased, emerging from your memories, stories and photographs?

  • Or a last portrait among family and friends?

  • Music from classical (soprano) to rock (voice and guitar or ukulele) to accompany the memorial ceremony?

  • Or a musical piece, written personally for the deceased, played during the memorial ceremony (voice, guitar, ukulele or piano)?

  • Musical Accompaniment while you reminisce in private about your deceased’s favorite songs

… preferably all from a single source?

Celebrate a mourning ceremony as individual and unconventional as the person you are mourning.

The time of mourning is an extraordinary time in our lives which deserves our full attention and loving patience.

As an artistic grief doula I will act as a medium for the creative processing of what has happened, during your time of mourning.
Your only task is to follow and allow your feelings, and express them however feels right for you.

I will stay in the background, but lend my support whenever you need me.
So that you receive the footing you need to deal with your experiences.
So that you can facilitate and celebrate your memories of this person in exactly the way that feels right to you.
So that you can find and respectfully celebrate a fitting closure for the life of your relative.
